The ability to take action WIDE gross and remove all suckers before planing makes this machine, second only to my table saw, the most useful in the shop. significantly increases the overall accuracy. The huge input / output beds are even the longest edge manageable. I had a jointer 6 'Delta before it and wonder how I lived without it.

The DELTA 37-361 12-inch, 3 HP Jointer features a center-mounted fence which safely encloses the rear of the cutterhead when working in front of the machine for maximum safety. The rack and pinion design ensures smooth operation and the parallelogram support system allows the table to move with the cutterhead which produces more efficient cutting, less tear-out, and safer operation. The three HP, single-phase motor powers the three-knife cutterhead configuration at speeds of 3,450 RPM, which produces a cutterhead speed of 15,000 CPM. The long 84-inch table makes it easy to handle large workpieces.
