As everyone who has used exercises for many years, I have a large collection of dull drill bits. To replace the larger would be very expensive, so I continued to use them as they would not drill a hole through pine trees! I then threw in a drawer, saying: "One day I'll make a size drill." One day came for my birthday, and I used the Drill Doctor for the first time today. J I tried to drill a 3 / 8 "hole in a bottle for my wife. It would not be drilling - Hey, I already admitted Ikept bit dull around a long time!

I unpacked the Drill Doctor 350X and found that there was an instructional DVD in the box. After examining the camera, I read the manual, then watched the video with the offending machine and drill in front of me. I stopped the video whenever I needed so I can follow the lesson. I'm really glad I did. My first attempt yielded excellent results. I can not stress enough that the machine is not intuitive, but if you read the manualand watch the video, you will.

For a tinkerer like me, this machine is great. It is inexpensive and will pay for itself in no time. It also gives me an ability I have long wanted.

I remember a pencil sharpener one of my friends who had worked with his drum. It destroyed more bits that he had saved. If this machine is configured correctly, I am sure he will make a perfect grind every time.
