Cheap Mirka 23-624-150 6" 6-Hole 150 Grit Dustless Hook & Loop Sanding Discs - 50 Pack Review
When I purchased my Bosch 3727DVS, I bought a box of popular grades, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 220 and 320. The 100, 120 and 150 are most often used.To tell you the truth, I rarely use the 320. I just went through over 50 boards of 80 + inch cedar, in three grades, and I only used about 10 sheets all combined. This represents approximately 3 for each grade. The advantage of quality paper, is that you can get in a groove with some consistency. Instead of having cheaper paper that gives you theaggressive new drive, then quickly to the smoothness of the paper, which can be a good note, and lack the deep lines of the quality of coarse paper in the previous step. In addition, the backing paper is stiff enough to do the job. In this way, you do not end up with a buggered edge on your sander. The paper 6 hole is good for the environment without dust. I simply attach a 2 1 / 2 "pipe cleaner to the dust port on my Bosch, which is much lower than so much air escapes. The vacuum draw thatleaks around the inlet, sucks that last 1% of the dust from the paper. It is always advisable to wear a mask because the shop vacuum cleaner to catch a micron or more. So, technically, you have a VAC system is actually a part of a mini-micron manufacturing plant dust invisible. Over time, even that is a consideration. A good respirator, not a paper mask is advisable. A fresh air system is even better.
I had a body shop for 20 years, and after using the cheaper on paper at randomSanders orbit, and the liquidation of a floor full of used paper, I can attest to the savings of using quality, aluminum oxide paper. It is actually cheaper, in addition to a better job. Highly recommended.
