Two Cherries 500-2012 Two Cherries Heavy Duty Mortise Chisel -12mm

Cheap Two Cherries 500-2012 Two Cherries Heavy Duty Mortise Chisel -12mm Review

With little experience in hand chopping mortises deep (and probably using a bad technique), I used the chisel to cut mortises-32 by an average of 1 "or so deep in hard maple, for some # 14 handscrews I did. About 15-20 minutes of work was required to initally knees in the back (2inches last or almost) straight and shiny, and put a razor blade on the use of abrasive mylar support and guide running (Veritas). The chisel kept his advantage with only occasional (about every 8 slots)to revert to using Lee Valley Veritas honing compound on a green felt wheel for a few seconds. I do not know how a real challenge for this purpose represents a high reputation mortise chisel as two cherries, and certainly the edge (32-degree bevel side) did not fail (I periodically examined using 15X magnification) while waste off lever. I must add that I pre-drilled one hole 12 mm in the center of each groove, which may have used it less serious than ifmortise was cut in its entirety. I'm only the hands of average size, but I found the handle very large at ease.
